IS NOT PAYING CASH CONSIDERATION TO THE GRANTORS
WHEREAS, Alva H. Wilson, et al, have delivered to the City a
deed dated July 25, 1958, granting an easement for drainage purposes
running northerly from Edinger Street west of Douglas Street, and
WHEREAS, the Santa Ana High School District of Orange County
has delivered to the City a deed dated August ~, 1958, granting ease-
ment for street purposes for the extension of Raitt Street, and a deed
dated August 5, 19~8, granting an easement for underground fire alarm
conduit running southerly from Diamond Street for a distance of 129
feet, then westerly to Fairview Road, and
WHEREAS, Roy Russell, et ux, have delivered to the City a deed
dated August 14, 19~8, granting property for street widening along the
westerly side of Baker Street north of Seventeenth, and
V~EREAS, Blanche S. Forgy, et al, have delivered to the City a
deed dated June 27, 1958, conveying an ease~uent for street purposes
for the widening of North Main Street, on the west side, north of
Tenth Street, and
WHEREAS, Horace J. Stevens, et al, have delivered to ~e City
a deed dated August 29, 19~8, conveying an easem~t for storm sewer
right-of-way along Fairview Avenue to ~onta Vista, between Raitt and
Center Streets, and
WHEREAS, in each of these cases the City is paying no cash con-
sideration to the grantor, ~nd
VfHEREAS, a parti~ reconveyauce has been delivered to the City
by Orange County Title Co~any as Trustee under a deed of trust cover-
ing t~e property referred to first hereinabove;
i~0W, T~E~{PORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City accepts said deeds
and directs Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, to place
his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds and to cause the same to
be recorded, together with said partial reconveyance.
