THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO COMMENCE-
rY~ENT OF PROCEEDINGS UNDER THE ANNEXATION ACT OF 1913
FOR TERRITORY KNOWN AS "SULLIVAN AND EDINGER ANNEX"
WHEREAS, residents and property owners in t he area lying
southwesterly of the present boundaries of the City of Santa Aha,
South of First Street, North of Harvard Street and its westerly
extension to the Santa Aha River, and along the easterly side of
the Santa Ana River, have petitioned the City Council to give its
consent to the commencement of proceedings as required by Section
35106 of the Government Code, and
WHEREAS, a map and description of the boundaries of said area
have been presented to the Planning Com~nissi on of the City of Santa
Ana for their consideration, and said Planning Commission has by
Resolution reported to this City Council and has recommended that
said annexation be consented to, approved, and carried forward by
this City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the
City of Santa Ana hereby consents to the commencement of proceedings
for the annexation of territory to be known as "SULLIVAN AND EDINGER
ANNEX", in accorda~ ce with the map and description heretofore pre-
sented to the Santa Ana Planning Commiss~ on and to this City Council.
PASSED AND ADOP~ED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at a special meeting called and held for ss~ d purpose at the
hour of 2 o'clock P.M. on the
