A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA PROPOSING TO MODIFY THE RESOLUTION OF
INTENTION FOR ASSESSMENT DISTRICT N0, lg8 (DAISY
AVENUE)

WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 58-129, the City Council of the City
of Santa Ana declared its intention to improve Daisy Avenue and
other streets pursuant to the provisions of the Improvement Act of
lgll; and
WHEREAS, in Section 2 of said resolution it was provided that
there shall be paid out of the treasury of the City of Santa Ana,
from the general fund of said city, the sum of $2,000.00 towards
the cost of such improvement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council now has determined that the city~s
contribution to the cost of making such improvement should be in-
creased;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLL06dS
SECTION 1. That said City Council hereby proposes to
modify the determination made in said Section 2 of said Resolution
No. 58-12g by changing the portion of the cost and expense of doing
the work described in said resolution that will be paid out of the
treasury of the City of Santa Ana from the general fund of said city,
from the amount of $2,000.00 to the amount of $4,637.00.
The proposed change will not reduce the cost of the work
or the improvement, but will reduce the amount to be assessed upon
the properties referred to in said Resolution No. 5$-12g by the
amount of $2,637.00.
SECTION 2. That notice hereby is given that, on the 15th
day of December, 1858, at 7:30 o~clock P.M., any person interested
in the proceedings referred to in said Resolution No. 58-12g and
having any objection to the changes proposed herein, may appear

before said City Council and show cause why said changes should not
be ordered, and any person interested may file written objections
to the proposed changes with the Clerk of the Council at any time
not later than the date of hearing.
SECTION 3. The Clerk of the Council hereby is directed
to publish this resolution in the "Santa Ana Register" at least once,
the first publication to be at least ten (10) days prior to the date
of the above public hearing.
SECTION 4. The Clerk of the Councll shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was adopted at
a regular' meeting of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
held on the lst day of December , 1958, by the affirmative vote
of at least five councilmen, to wit:
