RESOLUTION NO. APPROVING MAP AND DECLARING
INTENTION TO VACATE ~ SMALL PORTION OF A PUBLIC SERVICE
WHEREAS, after study, and upon recommendation of the Director
of Public Works, the Planning Commission has recommended that the
portion of the public service easemer~ hereinbelow described be.
vacated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council hereby
adopts the map attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" and orders the same
filed as a part of this Resolution in the office of the Clerk of the
Council, and reference is hereby made to said map for particulars as
to the vacation herein proposed; and the City Council hereby declares
its intention to vacate that portion of the public service easement
"for public sanitary sewer and storm water drain purposes" located
in the City of Sm ta Aha, County of Orange, State of California, Just
West of Baker Street, approximately 1375 feet South of the center
line of Delhi Road, described as:
Connnencing at the Southwest cor~er of Lot 57 of Tract No.
2392, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 108, page
lb, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, C~ifornia
and running thence North 0° 38' 16" East along the west line
of said Lot 57, 39.26 feet to the true point of beginning;
thence North 0° 38' 16" East 14.74 feet; thence North 45° 38'
03" East 14.14 feet; thence South 89° 22, 10" East 65.00 feet
to a ta~genh curve concave southerly a~i having a radius of
15.00 feet; thence easterly au d southeasterly along said curve
through a central angle of 34° 37' 28" an arc dist~ce of
9.06 feet to a point on a non-tangent curve concave north-
westerly having a radius of 445.00 feet, the radial to said
curve at said point bears North 22° 21' 08" West; thence
southwesterly along said curve through a central angle of
ll° 17' 06" an arc dists~ce of 87.38 feet to t~e true point
of beginning.
BE IT FURRIER RESOLVED: That the 2nd day of March .. . ,
1959, at the hour of 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers, City Hall,
3rd and Main Streets, Sauta Ana, Callfox~nia, is hereby fixed as the
time ~ d place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting
to said vacation; and the City Council declares its intention to
proceed with said vacation unde~ the p~'ovisions of the Public Service
Easements Vacatiom Law (Goverr~ent Code Sections 50430 through 50445).
The C~k of the Council is hereby ordered to publish this
Resolution twice, said publications to be at least one week apar$,
and the Director of Public Works is hereby ordered to post conspic-
uously along the lines of said easement notiees of said vacation,
giving time and place of hearing herein fixed, notice of the adoption
of this Resolution of intention to vacate, and describe the easement
herein proposed to be vacated. Said notices shall be posted not
more than 300 feet apart, and at least three notices shall be so
posted; said posting and publishing to be completed two weeks prior
to said hearing date.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the ~
