RESOLUTION NO. 59-~2 ORDERING THE VACATION OF A
PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT
WHEREAS, on Febxuary 2, 1959, the City Council adopted Reso-
lution No. 59-21 declaring its intention to vacate a small portion
of public service easement described therein, which said Resolution
was published and posted as required by law; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was duly held on March 2nd, 1959,
on due notice in said Resolution and said posted notices contained;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council hereby
finds from all the evidence submitted that the portion of public
service easement herein described is unnecessary for present or
prospective sewer and drainage purposes, the purposes for w~ch it
was dedicated, or for other public purposes, and said Council hereby
makes its order vacating and abandoning said public service easement
which lies in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of
California, and is described as:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of Lot 57 of Tract No.
2592, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 108, page
lb, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California
and running thence North 0o38' 16" East along the west line
of said Lot 57, 39.26 feet to the true point of beginning;
thence North 0o 38' 16" East 18.74 feet; thence North 45° 38'
03" East ~ .~ feet; thence South 89° 22' 10" East 65.00 feet
to a tangent curve concave southerly and having a radius of
15.00 feet; thence easterly and southeasterly along said
curve through a central angle of 34° 37' 28" an arc distance
of 9.06 feet to a point on a non-t~ gent curve concave north-
westerly having a radius of 445.00 feet, the radial to said
curve at said point bears North 22° 21' 08" West; thence
southwesterly alon~ said curve through a central angle of
ll° 17' 06" an arc distance of 87.38 feet to the true point
of beginning.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That said!Council finds~that.s~ld ~L
easement was.~edtcated more than one year ago, and has not been used
continuously since that date, the line which occupied said easement
having been replaced by more direct connection.
