ING TO THE SALE OF FOUR PARCELS OF TAX DEEDED PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the Tax Collector of Orange County, California, is
about to sell certain real property within the City of Santa Ana,
a municipal corporation, which said ~roperty is needed by the City
for street purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana is a taxing agency, the taxes
of which City are collected by the Co~u~ty of 0range through the
County Tax Collector, and the unpaid taxes resulting in the tax
sales of the properties herein referred to have in part resulted
from taxes levied by the City.of Sauta Ana on said parcels of real
property, and said taxes due include taxes levied by said City of
Santa Ana;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA A~A: T~nat said City objects to the

property are each needed for street purposes,
proposed sales of said
said parcels of real
excepting parcel 4,
and that as to said parcel 4, the southerly portion thereof is
needed by the City for street purposes and should not be sold to
private ownership; that a sale to ~ivate ownership would require
the City to proceed in an action of eminent domain to acquire said
property for public street purposes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the ~ayor and the Clezk of the
Council are hereby authorized and directed to execute, for and on
behalf of s~ d City, the Agreement, a copy of which is attached
hereto, between said City and the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Orange, for purchase of said four parcels of real property by
said City.
BE IT ~RTHER RESOLVED: That s~ d City agrees to pay the price
shown on Exhibit ~'A" of said Agreement for the parcel of re~ property
set opposite the price and, in addition, to pay the cost of giving
notice of this Agreement, as provided for by Section 3800 of the
California Revenue and Taxation Code.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That Resolution No. 59-38 is hereby
rescinded and superseded by this Resolution.
