WITH ~E COUNTY OF ORANGE FOR TEMPORAR~Z OCCUPANCY OF TWO
FIRE STATIONS BY THE CITY OF SANTA ANA IN NEWLY ANNEXED AREAS
WHEREAS, the City of Sm ta Ana has recently annexed tw~ areas
under the Annexation Act of 1913 andthe County of Orange owns and
operates a fire station in each of said areas, and it is the desire
of the County of Orange and the City of Santa Ana that responsibility
for fire protection in said areas Shall be assumed by said City on
the 24th day of April, 1959; and
WHEREAS, an Agree~ent for temporary use and occupancy of said
two fire stations has been arrived at to allow time for said County
snd City to negotiate a permanent Agreement regarding said stations;
NOW, _~qEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ama
apl~roves said Agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto, and by
reference made a part hereof, and the Mayor and theClerk of the
are hereby directed to execute four copies of said Agreement and to
deliver the same to t~he Board of Supervisors for their approval and
execution.
