HomeMy WebLinkAbout59-112RESOLUTION NO. 59-112 ACCEPTING DEEDS GRANTING STREET EASE~ENTS,AND A :S~tDRrfNAT%0~ AGREEI~.~NT ON STREET EASE- MENT, AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A DEED W~EREUNDER THE CITY IS CONVEYING VEHICULAR ACCESS RIGHTS FOR TWO DRIVEWAYS ment East and WHEREAS, ~ INC. has presented to the City a deed dated February 18, 1959, quitclaiming the westerly l0 feet ~ of Lot 3, in Block A, of the Price and Stella Fruit Addition to Santa Ana, as per map recorded in Book 28, Page 5, Miscellaneous Records of I~o~ ~ng~les U~unty; and ASS OE S 0 IEZ OF THE UNITED STATES has presented to the City a SmBorchlnation~, Agreement ~!~a~ their deeded7 of trust on the property next hereinabove quitclaimed; and WHEREAS, INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES, a California corporation, has presented to the City a deed dated April 14, 1959, granting an ease- for street purposes for the widening of McClay Street on the side, 366.25 feet south of the center line of Chestnut Street; WHEREAS, ELIZABETH DIXON, has presented to the City a deed dated April 4, 1959, granting an easement for street purposes for the widening of First Street on the south side, west of Sullivan Street; and WHEREAS, GE0~E and AUDREY TAil~EY have tresented to the City a deed dated April 24, 1959, granting an easement for street purposes for the widenin~ of Seventeenth Street, on the south side, and the widening of Maybury Street, on t he west side; and JOHN and ADALAIDE DANIELL have presented to the City a deed dated ~ay l, 1959, granting~C~$/ an easement for street purposes for the widening of Seventeenth Street on the south side, immediately east of Santiago, Street; and WHEREAS, the SEGERSTROM FAUltILY has heret.__ofore granted to the City all vehicular access rights to certain land along ~he south side of Delhi Road, and has now requested two 36-foot driveways, and it is the desire of the City to reconvey driveway NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: T~at the City hereby grants to ANTON H. SEGERSTROM and NELLIE R. SEGERSTROM, HAROLD T. and VERONICA P. SEGERSTROM, HAROLD T. SEGERSTROM, JR. and J~EANETTE E. SEGE9STROM, ~tENRY T. SEGERSTROM and YVONt~E deC. SEGERSTROM, and Ai~N SEGERSTR0~ all vehicular access rights from the lands slong the south boundary of Delhi Road to those portions of Delhi Road in the County of Orange, State of California, the south line of which is described as follows: PARCEL l: Beginning at a point on said south line of Delhi Road, 2.83 feet northeasterly m~asured along said South line from the Northwest corner of Lot i in Tract No. 2650, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book ll, pages 9, 10, and ll, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of 0rs~ge County; and running thence northeasterly along said South line of Delhi Road 36.00 feet. PARCEL 2: Beginning at a point on said south line of Delhi Road 198.15 feet, northeasterly measured along said south line from said northwest comer of Lot l, Tract No. 2650, and ~un- ning thence northeasterly 36.00 feet measUred along said south line, and the Mayor ~d the CMrk of the Council are hereby directed to execute a deed granting and surrendering said vehicular access rights to said grantees; BE IT FURT~TER RESOLVED: That the City accepts said deeds, and said Sabordinatio~ ~greement, hereinabove set out, a~d Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Accepta~ ce upon such instruments; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That all of said transactions are without cash consideration being paid by the City to the grantors.
