A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY 0F
SANTA ANA AWARDING CONTRACT TO IMPROVE TOWNER
STB~.T AND OTHER STREETS IN THE C±T~, IN ACCORD-
ANCE WITH RESOLUTION 0F INTENTION NO. 59-45

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha, in open
session on May 4, 1959, publicly examined and declared all sealed
proposals or bids for doing the work described in its Resolution of
Intention No. 59-45, declaring its intention to improve the streets
named in said resolution, all in accordance with said resolution; and
Reference hereby is made to the Resolution of Intention for the
description of the work and assessment district and all further pa~
ticulars;
NOW, THEBEFOHE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
~EUTION 1. That the City Council hereby awards the con-
tract to the lowest responsible bidder, to wit:
Co, Bros. Construction Co.
pursuant to the bid submitted for doing the work described in said
Resolution of Intention, which bid is on file in the office of the
Clerk of the Council. This award is made at the price named in the
bid, and the City Council hereby rejects all other proposals or bids
for the doing of said work.
SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council hereby is directed to
publish notice of this award twice in "The Santa Ana Register," a
newspaper published and circulated in the City of Santa Ana.
SECTION 3. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same
shall be in full force and effect.
