STREETS AND HIGHWAYS TO INCLUDE AREAS COMING INTO
THE CITY BY BECENT ANNEXATIONS
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Sa~ ta Ana
regularly held a public hearing on ~ay ll, 1959, on the adoption
of ~mendments to the Master Plan of Streets and Highways, and recom-
mended to the City Council that they pass and adopt the sa~e; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing, on notice,
on June 15, 1959, and there were no protests to the adoption of said
amendment s;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the~Master Plan of Streets
and Highways of the City of Santa Ana originally adopted by Resolu-
tion No. 58-261 be and the same is hereby amended to include exten-
sion of said streets of the City through areas recently annexed to
said City, particularly those areas annexed under the name of "West
Santa Ana Annex", and "Edinger and Sullivm Annex", and is amended
to show Delhi Road between Bristol Street and Standard Avenue, and
Fourth Street between Tustin Avenue and the Sauta Ana Freeway, as
changed from secondary to primary classification.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the map nominated Master Plan
of Streets and Highways, so amended, is hereby adopted as the Master
Plan of Streets aud Highways, and the Planning Department is directed
to show upon the face of said map the adoption of this amendment and
to keep a current up-to-date copy of said map on file in the office
of the Clerk of the Council.
