PORTION 0F ARTESIA STREET BETWEEN FIFTEENTH AND SIX-
TEEN~t STREETS, AND A PORTION OF SIXT~.'".~NTH~ STREET
WHEREAS, heretofore on May 18,
Resolution No. 59-120 declaring its
Artesia Street and Sixteenth Street~
1959, the City Council adopted
intention to vacate portions of
in said Resolution, aud herein-
below described, which said Resolution was published and posted as
required by law; and
WHEREAS, public hearing was duly held on the 15th day of June,
1959~ upondue notice in said Resolution and said posted notices
contained;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the
City of Santa Ana hereby finds from all the evidence submitted that
the portions of streets in said Resolution and hereinbelow described
are unnecessary for present or prospective s~treet purposes;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the City Council makes its order
abandoning and vacating for street purposes those portions of Artesia
and Sixteenth Streets lying in the City of Santa Ana, County of
Orauge, State of California, and described as:
That portion of Artesia Street running North from Fif-
teenth Street to Sixteenth Street between College and
Daisy Avenues and that portion of Sixteenth Street lying
East of a line running due North and South and being
160.76 feet West of the East line of said Artesia Street
meastu~ed at right angles.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 15~of June, 1959. f
