~tEREAS, the Senate smd the Assembly of the State of California have adopted Joint Resolution No. 22 relating
to a World's Fair to De held in 1963;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA: That Said City Council here~-
p~+.itions and memorializes the President of the United States and the Congress of She United States to designate
Southern California, more particularly the County of Orange or of Los Angeles, or vicinity, as the site of a World's
Fair to be held. in the year 1963.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Clerk of the Council is directed to transmit copies of this Resolution to
Senators Kuchel and Engle, and to Orange County Representatives in the Congress of the United States of America.
