BRS0LUTION NO. 59-202 GRANTING A VARIANCE ON APPLICATION
NO. 1145 FIT.~ BY BERNARD J. JONES BY CHANGING RECON~ENDED
CONDITIONS
WHEREAS, Application No. 1145 requested Variance to allow
the construction of two duplexes on the rear two parcels of prop-
erty located on the West side of Newhope Street, approximately
800 feet South of Bolsa Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Cor~mission recommended that said Var-
iance be granted subject to conditions, but the Council finds that
curb, gutter and sidewalk should not be ~equired at this time;
NOW, THEREFOF(E, BE IT RESOLVED: That a Variance to pemmit
the construction of a duplex on Parcel 3, and a duplex on Parcel 4,
as shown on the plot plan prepared by Jack S. Raub and on file with
the Planning Department, is hereby granted on the following condi-
tion:
That the owner deliver to the City a deed granting an ease-
ment for street purposes along the Westerly side of said land, 42
feet, measured at right angles from the center line of Newhope
Street, and dedicate all access rights to Newhope Street, except
along the Southerly 20 feet of said land as an opening for Bernardal
Place.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of August, ~959-
