HomeMy WebLinkAbout59-219RESOLUTION NO. 59-219 DECLARING INTENTION TO ESTABLISH FUTURE RIGHT-OF-WAY LINES ALONG BOTH SIDES OF PORTIONS OF NEWHOPE STREET AND SMELTZER AVENUE WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, after hearing on notice, held August 10, 1959, has recommended that Future Right-of-Way Lines be established as hereinbelow described; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City C~ncil of the City of Santa Aha declares its intention to establish setback lines under the designation of Future Right-of-Way Lines, as follows: (i) Newhope Street On both sides between the proposed Garden Grove Freeway and Slater Avenue, measured 42 feet from and at right angles to the survey center line. (J) Smeltzer Avenue On both sides, between Harbor Boulevard and Ward Street, measured 52 feet from and at right angles to the survey center line. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That 7:30 P.M. on the 21st day of September, 1959, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 3rd and Main Streets, Santa Aha, California, is hereby established as the hour and place when all persons having any objection to the establishment of said proposed Future Right-of-Way Lines may appear and be heard. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Clerk of the Council is dir- ected to publish a copy of this Resolution once in The Register, and the Department of Public Works is directed to post copies of this Resolution along said streets in front of each block or part of block where such lines are proposed to be established. Both publication and posting shall be completed at least l0 days before the time of ssi d hearing. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana on the 17th day of August, 1959.
