GRANTING APPROXIMATELY ONE-THIRD OF A LOT AT THE SOUTH-
EAST CORNER OF MAIN STREET AND DELHI ROAD IN CONSIDERA-
TION OF $10,340.00
WHEREAS, The City heretofore acquired certain property neces-
sary for the widening of Delhi Road, and has a remaining portion
unused, which is unnecessary for street purposes, and which is co-
terminus with property owned by the Grantees hereinbelow referred
to on all sides other than along the street lines, which property
is of no value to the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the Clerk
of the Council are hereby directed to execute a deed granting that
certain property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State
of California, described as:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of Block "A" of South
Santa Ana, as shown on a map recorded in Book 5, page 43
of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California,
and running thence South 89° 59' 30" East along the north
line of s~d Block "A", 135.00 feet to the true point of
beginning; thence due North, ll.00 feet; thence North 89°
59' 30" West a distance of 83.37 feet to the beginning of a
tangent curve concave southeasterly, having a radius of
25.00 feet; thence southwesterly along the arc of said curve
through a central angle of 68° 53' 59", an arc distance
of 30.06 feet, to a non-tangent line parallel with and 5.00
feet southerly, measured at right angles, from said north
llne of Block "A"; thence South 89° 59' 30" East, 106.70
feet; thence due North, 5.00 feet to the true point of be-
ginning,
to J. Wayne Harr_.is~__o~ and Kathryn L. Harrison, husband and wife, as
joint tenants, and to deliver the same through escrow, in considera-
tion of the purchase price of $10,34o.00.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 17th day of August, 1959.
