AND TUSTIN S. W. A£~EX" WAS NOT MADE BY THE OWNERS OF ONE-
HALF 0P THE VALUE OF THE ~RRITORY/
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha, by Resolu-
tion No. 59-20~ initiated proceedings for the annexation of certain
territory and fixed September 21st, 19~9 as the time for hearing
protests made by owners within said territory, and at said hearing
protests by two owners were filed and the Clerk of the Council
reported that the protests represented 33.~% of the value of said
territory, in accordance with Government Code Section 3~313.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council finds
and determines that Resolution No. 59-20~ was regularly published
as required by law; that notice of said hearing date was duly
mailed to each person to whom land was assessed within said terri-
tory; that the protest hearing was regularly held and that the
protest of F. F. Hoffman and the protest of William L. and Gertrude
J. Gorzeman represented 33.~% of the value of said territory, as
shown on the last equalized County assessment roll, and that protest
was not made by the owners of one-half of the value of said terri-
tory.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Sa~ ta
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 21st day of September, 1959.
