RESOLUTION NO. 59-264 GRANTING VARIANCE ON APPLICATION
NO. ll64 BY MODIFYING CONDITIONS
WHEREAS, after hearing, the Planning Commission recommended
that Variance Application No. ll64 should be granted, and the City
Council concurs, but has determined to modify the conditions imposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE I~ RESOLVED: That the Variance as recommend-
ed in S~ta Ana Planning Commission Resolution Noo 5249 is hereby
granted to permit the location of one additional single-family dwell-
lng on property located at the Northwest corner of Eighth end Pacific,
the lot size being 100 feet North to South, ~d 143.26 Feet East to
West, on the ~llowing conditions:
1. That the rear yard is reduced to 15 feet.
2. That the residences be at least 15 feet apart.
That the owner dedicate all vehicular access rights from
the property to Eighth Street.
That the owner dedicate to the City of S~ta Aha a street
easement across the full width of the property, for the
widening of Eig!~th Street, said easement being 42 feet
from the center line of Eighth Street, measured northerly
and at right angles, and a spandrel shaped parcel at the
southeast corner of said property, the curve to be on a
25-foot radius.
That a driveway of asphalt or concrete to a carport or
a second garage be provided, and the driveway approach
installed.
6. That no street improvements are required at this time.

at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of October,
