CASH CONSIDERATION
WHERE S. ED: HE P. W LKER has offered to city a deed gr nt- Il~Z~
lng an easement for street purposes over the westerly 12 feet of Lot
2 of Crookshank and Wakeham's Addition to Santa Ana, as per Map re-
corded in Book l?, Page 52, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles
County, California, for the widening of Nain Street on the East side,
South of Washington; and
WHEREAS, the City is paying no cash consideration for said land,
but is agreeing to pay the sum of $33,750.00, which said sum repre-
sents the cost of removal of all buildings from the area of said ease-
ment and the reconstruction of a new front and replacement of said
building, together with architect's fees, which said sum is to be paid
through Escrow No. 43903-c at the Security Title Company;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T RESOLVED: That the City accepts said
deed and directs Hugh Foreman, the City's designated agent for the
acceptance of said deed, to place his Certificate of Acceptance upon
said instrument and to deliver the same through said escrow.
