COUNCIL OF S~T~ ANA~ CALIFORNIA TO COMMENCEMENT OF PRO-
CEEDINGS UNDER THE ANNEXATION ACT OF 1913
WHEBEAS, a request of residents and property owners in the area
lying Southwesterly of the present Ssata Ana City boundaries has been
received, requesting consent of the City Council of said City to the
commencement of proceedings, as required by Government Code Section
35106, for an annexation to be kno~ as '~0UTH SANTA ANNEX NO. 2"
.; and
WHEREAS, a copy of the map and petition attached to said re-
quest has been referred to the Planning Commission of the City of
Santa Ana for their consideration, and said Planning Commission has
reported to the City Council, recommending that said armexation be
consented to, approved and carried forward by said City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ~ESOLVED: That the City Council of the
City of Santa Ana hereby consents to the commencement of proceed-
ings for the annexation of inhabited territory to be known as
'~OUTH SANTA ANA ANNEX NO. 2" ,
in accordance with the map and description attached hereto, and by
reference made a part hereof.
