COPY OF NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CIRCULATE PETITION FOR
ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY TO ~E CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALI-
FORNIA, NOMINATED "SOUTH SANTA ANA ANNEX NO. 2", STATE-
~NT ACCOMP~NYING SUCH NOTICE AND AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLI-
CATION THEREOF, AND APPROVING CIRCULATION OF PETITION
WHEREAS, heretofore there was filed with the City Council
a request for annexation of certain territory to the City of Santa
Ana, which said request was referred to the Planning Commission,
~nd after approval by them the City Council adopted Resolution
No. 59-278 consenting to the commencement of annexation proceed-
ings; and
WHEREAS, heretofore there has been filed with the City Clerk
a copy of NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CIRCULATE PETITION FOR ANNEXATION
OF TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF S~MTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, accompanied by
a written statement containing reasons for said annexation, to-
gether with an affidavit of publication of said notice showing
publication had on October 30, 1959, in the S~nta Aha Register.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of
the City of S~nta Ar~hereby acknowledges receipt of said notice,
statement and affidavit, as hereinabove set out, and that approval
is hereby given for the circulation of a petition for annexation
of that certain territory in the County of Orange, State of Cali-
fornia, and described on Exhibit A attached hereto and by reference
made a part hereof.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
adjourned special meeting held on the ~Ot~ day of
