FORNIA~ NOMINATED "SOUTH ~z~?~v~A ANNEX NO. 3"~ STATE-
MENT ACCOMPANYING SU~0TICE AND ~F-~A~TT OF PUBLI-
CATION THEREOF~ AND APPROVING CIRCULATION OF PETITION
WHEREAS~ heretofore there was filed with the City Council
a request for annexation of certain territory to the City of Santa
Ana~ which said request was referred to the Planning Commission~
and after approval by them the City Council adopted Resolution No.
59-288 consenting to the commencement of annexation proceedings;
~nd
WHEREAS~ heretofore there has been filed with the City Clerk
acopy of NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CIRCULATE PETITION FOR ANNEXATION
OF TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF SANTA ANA~ CALIFORNIA~ accompanied by
a written statement containing reasons for said annexation~ to-
gether with an affidavit of publication of said notice showing
publication had on November 9th~ 19~9, in the Santa Ana Register;
NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of
the City of Santa Aha hereby acknowledges receipt of said notice~
statement and affidavit, as hereinabove set out~ and that approval
is hereby given for the circulation of a petition for annexation
of that certain territory in the County of Orange, State of California~
and described on Exhibit A attached hereto~ and by reference made
a part hereof.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its adjourned
