RESOLUTION NO. 59-318 GRANTING VARIANCE ON APPLICATION
NO. 1222 FILED BY J~ WHERE
RECOMMENDED CONDITIONS ~ERE MODIFIED
WHEREAS, after hearing, the Planning Commission recommended
the grant of Variance on Application No. 1222; and
WHEREA2, the City Council agrees that said Variance should be
granted, but desires to modify the recommended conditions;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council approves
the findings justifying the grant of Variance as contained in Plan-
ning Commission Resolution No. 5292 to permit the use of real prop-
erty in the City of Santa Aha, County of Or~uge, State of California,
described as Lot 21, BlockC, Tract No. 603, Magnolia Place, as per
map recorded in Book 19, Page 6 of Miscellanous Maps, Records of
the County Reco~der's Office of said Orange County, for the erection
of an addition in front of existing dwelling house to be used as a
beauty shop for two operators in an R-1 District, subject to all
conditions contained in said Resolution No. 529~ excepting that Con-
dition No. 3 is hereby eliminated, Condition No. 4 is changed to
require that the front of the lot he concreted instead of landscaped,
and that Condition No. 10 be modified to read, "No portion of the
building to be closer than 45 feet from the surveyed center line of
the street upon which the property fronts."
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Sm~ta Ana
at its regular meeting held the 21st day of December, 1959.
