RESOLUTION NO. 60-17 GRANTING VARIANCE ON APPLICATION
NO. 1246 WHERE ONE CONDITION IS MODIFIED
~HEREAS, the Planning Commission, after public hearing,
recommended that a variance be granted on Application No. 1246,
filed by Ray B. Pric~, affecting property in an R-1 District
known and numbered as 1319 South Grand Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, after consideration, agree with
the Planning Commission's recomendation, except that said Council
has concluded that condition designated "e" in Planning Commis-
sion Resolution No. 5322, should be modified;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of
the City of Santa Ana hereby finds that the conditions Justify-
ing a variance, as set forth in said Resolution No. 5322, are
approved and adopted,

of a Recreation Club,
and that the Variance as applied for in
is hereby granted to permit the construction
as set forth in said application and said
Resolution, subject to all of the conditions contained in said
Resolution No. 5322, except that condition designated "e" is
hereby modified to read as follows:
"(e) ~nat the record owners of the land make, execute,
acknowledge and deliver to the City an agreement to bind
said owners, their heirs, successors and assigns to install
crushed rock base, or other base, as required for standard
paving, along the entire frontage of said property for ~
width of 18 feet, measured from the face of the curb, and
to install standard curb and gutter and sidewalk along said
area, said curb and gutter to be placed 32 feet East of
the center line of Grand Avenue, at such time as any portion
of the East side of Grand Avenue between the North line of
said property and t~e Southwesterly line of the Atchison,
Topeka & Santa Fe right of way is improved with curb and
gutter".
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meetiqg held on t he 1st day of February, 1960.
