THE CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, BARNEY E. COLEMAN and AGNES COLEMAN have presented
to the City a deed dated January 2, 1964, conveying a parcel of
real property at the northwest corner of Edinger and Cypress Avenues
in consideration of the payment of $20,000.00. Said transaction
is to be handled through Escrow No. 50935-K with Security Title
Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the escrow instructions, that the City of Santa
Ana accepts said deed and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated
agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
deed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 20th day of January, 1964.
