CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, RICHFIELD OIL CORPORATION, a Delaware Corporation,
has presented to the City a deed dated January 17, 1964, conveying
real property at the northwest corner of Flower Street and Edinger
Avenue in consideration of the payment of $57,000.00; said trans-
action is to be handled through Escrow No. 50069-K with Security
Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the escrow instructions, that the City of Santa
Aha accepts said deed and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated
agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
deed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of February, 1964.
