INITIATING PROCEEDINGS TO ANNEX "SANTA CLARA
AND TUSTIN N. W. ANNEX"
WHEREAS, on April 20, 1964, the City Council adopted
Resolution 64-50 initiating an annexation under the provisions
of the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939 in reliance
upon information that the number of registered electors qualified
this area as uninhabited; and
WHEREAS, the Council has now discovered that such informa-
tion was in error and that said territory in fact may have more
than eleven registered electors residing within it.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Resolution 64-50 is
hereby rescinded and the public hearing set for June 15, 1964, is
hereby cancelled.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 4th day of May, 1964.
