CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, LAWRENCE L. MILLS and THELMA L. MILLS have delivered
to the City a deed dated April 16, 1964, conveying an easement for
alley purposes south of First Street, 175 feet west of Baker Street;
and
WHEREAS, WILLIAM A. BUMSTEAD has delivered to the City a
deed dated March 10, 1964, conveying an easement for street purposes
on the north side of Edinger Avenue, west of Gordon Place; and
WHEREAS, SOCONY MOBIL OIL COMPANY, INC., successor in interest
to General Petroleu~ Corporation, has delivered to the City a quit-
claim deed dated April 16, 1964, quitclaiming their interest as
lessee to an easement for street purposes on the south side of
Edinger Avenue and the east side of Bristol Street; and
WHEREAS, ROBERT HAHNAU has delivered to the city a deed dated
April 22, 1964, conveying an easement for street purposes on the
south side of Washington Avenue, east of Ross Street; and
WHEREAS, THE ROMAN CATHOLIC ARCHBISHOP OF LOS ANGELES, a
corporation sole, has delivered to the City a deed dated April 13,
1964, conveying an easement for street and highway purposes at the
southwest corner of Euclid Street and McFadden Avenue; said deed
is to replace an earlier deed granting the same property delivered
to and accepted by the City by Resolution 63-163 on October 7, 1963,
and thereafter lost before recording; and
WHEREAS, ALFREDO N. LEDDA and CORONADA E. LEDDA have
delivered to the City a deed dated March 10, 1964, conveying an
easement for street purposes on the north side of Roosevelt Avenue,
west of Newhope Street; and
WHEREAS, CHURCH OF THE WAY OF SANTA ANA, a non-profit
corporation, has delivered to the City a deed dated April 14, 1964,
conveying easements for street purposes on the south side of Warner
Avenue, east of Greenville Street; and
WHEREAS, all of said deeds are w~thout cash consideration
being paid to said grantors by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated
agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 4th day of May, 1964.
