THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
TO COMMENCEMENT OF PROCEEDINGS UNDER THE
ANNEXATION ACT OF 1913
WHEREAS, residents and property owners in the area lying
northwest and southwest and southeast of Tustin and Santa Clara
Avenues and easterly of Tustin Avenue between Santa Clara and
Fairhaven Avenues have requested that annexation proceedings be
co~mmenced for the annexation of the territory by the filing of
a Petition For Consent requesting the same; and
WHEREAS, a map and description of the boundaries of said
area have been presented to the Santa Aha Planning Commission
for their consideration, and said Con~ission has reported to
the City Council recommending that said annexation proceedings
be approved and carried forward.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council
of the City of Santa Ana hereby consents to the co~mmencement of
proceedings for the annexation of territory to be known as
"SANTA CLARA AND TUSTIN N. W. ANNEXATION" in accordance with
the map and description heretofore presented to the Santa Ana
Planning Commission and to this City Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 1st day of June,
1964.
