BY THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR IN GRANTING A
VARIANCE ON APPLICATION 1943 FILED BY B.E. BRUCE
GELKER D/B/A SADDLEBACK I~
WHEREAS, after public hearing on notice, the Zoning
Administrator granted a variance on Application NO. 1943, filed
by B. E. BRUCE GELKER d/b/a SADDLEBACK INN to allow off-street
parking, to expand a retail store area and to construct a sign
having a height greater than 35 feet in an R-3 District at 110,
116 and 122 South Lyon Street and 212 South Mabury Street,
Santa Ana, California, subject to certain conditions; and
WHEREAS, Appeal Application No. 129 was duly filed ~by
the applicant appealing the requirement that the house at 116
South Lyon Street be removed as set forth in Condition No. 1
imposed by the Zoning Administrator in his approval of said
Variance; and
WHEREAS, after public hearing on notice and after being
advised by the Zoning Administrator that the applicant had sub-
mitted a revised plan which would not require the re,oval of said
house, the City Council has determined that Condition No. 1 should
be deleted from the conditions set forth in the Zoning Administrator's
Finding of Facts;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Findings made and the
conditions imposed by the Zoning Administrator are approved, except
that Condition No. 1 of the Finding of Facts on said Variance is
no longer necessary and therefore is hereby deleted from the
conditions imposed.
PASSED ANDADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of June, 1964.
