RESOLUTION 64-106 ELIMINATING C_~N_~ITI~ M~ 4
AND NO. 6 IMPOSED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION
IN G~ANTING VARIANCE ON APPLICATION NO. 1944
FILED BY CLARENCE R. AND LURA V. BABB
WHEREAS, after hearing on notice, the Planning Commission
has granted a variance on Application No. 1944, filed by CLARENCE
R. and LURA V. BABB,to allow the establishment of a boarding home
for the aged and others incapable of providing fOr their own needs
in an R-3 District and located at 1140-1140½ Highland Street,
Santa Aha, California; said variance was granted subject to certain
conditions; and
WHEREAS~ Appeal Application No. 131 was duly filed by the
applicants requesting elimination of Conditions No. 4 and No. 6
imposed by the Planning Commission in their approval of said
variance; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, after hearing, has determined that
the variance should be granted, but that Conditions No. 4 and No. 6
should be eliminated from the approval of said variance provided,
however, that the block wall as indicated on the plot plan submitted
to the Council on July 6, 1964, shall be required.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Conditions No. 4 and
No. 6 as set forth in the Finding of Facts on Variance No. 1944 are
hereby eliminated from the conditions imposed by the Planning
Commission in the granting of said variance provided, however, that
the block wall as shown on the plot plan submitted to the City
Council on July 6~ 1964, shall be required.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 20th day of July, 1964.
