BE IT RESOLV~ BY ~ CITT C0~NCIL OF 'l'~i~ CTTY OF S~TA
W~h~EAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha did, o~ the 20th day of
April, 1964, pass Resolution 6~-56, determining a~d declaring that weeds
which bear seeds of a wing or dow~ nature and which attain such a large
growth as to becom~ a fire menace when dry and which ere noxious and
d~erous, were grow~_ug upon the streets, sidewal~ and private property iu
the City of Santa Ana, described in the ite~nlzed report sulmmitted therewith;
and
W~HEAS, on the 4th day of May, 1964, the City Council further
passed Resolution 64-70, ordering the Street Superintendent of said City to
abate such public nuisance; and
WHEREAS, the said Street Superintendent has given notice as
required by law, in which notice the 3rd day of August, 1964, at the hour
of 7:30 o'clock P.M., was fixed as the time, and the Council Chamber of
the City Hall of said City as the place where any and all persons interested
in the said report might be heard; and
W~S, at the time set, the S~et Superintendent having
submitted the said report and all of said protests or objections to said
report having been heard;
IT IS ~,:~EBY RESOLVED Dy the City Council of the City of santa
Aha that all of said protests or objections to the said report of the work
done~ be, and the same are, hereby overruled and the reportafflrmedand
that the Street Superintendent be, and he is, hereby directed to file a
copy of said report with the Tax Collector.
