CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, FINLEY G. LARMER and GERTRUDE C. LARMERhave
delivered to the City a deed dated August 21, 1964, conveying an
easement for public sidewalk on the west side of NeWhope Street,
north of Posey Street; and
WHEREAS, CLARA EDITH VOSE has delivered to the City a deed
dated August 25, 1964, conveying real property at the southeast
corner of Bristol Street and Memory Lane; and
WHEREAS, EDYTHE M. CARSON, MARIAN T. GBAMENTINE and VIRGINIA
E. NISSON have delivered to the City a deed dated July 2, 1964,
conveying an easement for street purposes on the west side of
Tustin Avenue, 660 feet south of Seventeenth Street; and
WHEREAS, WALTER W. COLE and MATRYCE H. COLE have delivered
to the City a deed dated August t0, 1964, conveying easements for
street purposes south of Fifth Street, Newhope Street to Mountain
View Street; and
WHEREAS, METCALF PLAZA, INC., a California corporation,
has delivered to the City a deed dated August 6, 1964, conveying
an easement for street purposes on the west side of Main Street
at Metcalf Plaza; and
WHEREAS, GILBERT M. ZURITA and LOREAN L. ZURITA have
delivered to the City a deed dated August 21, 1964, conveying an
easement for public sidewalk on the west side of Newhope Street,
north of Posey Street; and
WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration
being paid to said grantors by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa
Ana accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated
agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 8th day of September, 1964.
