THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR AND GRANTING A
VARIANCE ON APPLICATION NO. 2022 FILED BY
ADVANCE NEON SIGN CO., SUBJECT TO CONDITION
WHEREAS, after hearing on notice, the Zoning Administrator
DENIED a variance on Variance Application NO. 2022, filed by ADVANCE
NEON SIGN CO. for MONTE E. PETERS CHRYSLER DEALER to erect a free
standing advertising sign 44½ feet in height at 1017 West Seventeenth
Street, Santa Ana, California, in a C-1 District; and Appeal Appli-
cation No. 140 was duly filed by the applicant presenting the matter
to the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, after public hearing, has determined
that all of the statute and ordinance requirements for the granting
of a variance are adequately met and that said variance should be
granted, subject to condition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council does
hereby grant a variance on Variance Application No. 2022 to permit
the erection of a free standing advertising sign 44% feet in height
in a C-1 District; said variance is granted sub3ect to the following
condition:
1. That the develolanent be according to plot plan, except for
minor modifications approved by the Planning Department.
PASSED ANDADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 2nd day of November, 1964.
