HomeMy WebLinkAbout64-171RESOLUTION 64-171 OVERRULING THE DECISION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND GRANTING A VARIANCE ON APPLICATION NO. 2019, FILED BY THE MEREDITH COMPANY WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, after public hearing on notice, DENIED a variance on Variance Application No. 2019, filed by T2fE MEREDITH COMPANY, and Appeal Application No. 143 was duly filed by the applicant presenting the matter before the City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council, after public hearing, has determined that all of the statute and ordinance requirements for the granting of a variance are adequately met and that said variance should be granted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council does hereby overrule the decision of the Planning Commission and does hereby grant a variance on Variance Application No. 2019, filed by THE MEREDITH COMPANY to allow the construction of two-story (thirty-foot high) dwellings on Lots 1 through 6, Lots 15 through 19, Lots 24 through 28, Lots 36 through 39, Lots 44 through 61, and Lots 66 and 67, all in Tract 4000, located south of Santa Clara Avenue, between Wright Street and Tustin Avenue, within 150 feet of the R-1 and A-1 Districts. Said Variance is granted subject to the condition that all of the conditions and requirements of Tentative Tract 4000 be c~mplied with. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha at its regular meeting held on the 16th day of November, 1964.
