THE PLANNING COMMISSION A/qD GRANTING A VARIANCE
ON APPLICATION NO. 2015 FILED BY THE MEREDITH
COMPANY
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, after public hearing on
notice, has DENIED a variance on Variance Application 2015, filed
by THE MERRDITH COMPANY, and Appeal Application No. 145 was duly
filed by the applicant presenting the matter to the City Council;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council, after hearing, has determined that
all of the statute and ordinance requirements for the granting of
a variance have been adequately met and that said variance should
be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council does
hereby overrule the decision of the Planning Commission and does
hereby grant a variance on Variance Application No. 2015, filed ]~ by
T~E MEREDITH COMPANY, to permit a reduction of the side yard setback
requirements for Lots 17, 25 and 45 in Tract 4000 located south of
Santa Clara Avenue, between Wright Street and Tustin Avenue. Said
Variance is granted subject to the condition that all of the
conditions and requirements of Tentative Tract 4000 be cemplied with.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 16th day of November, 1964.
