AGRE~IENT WITH CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF
FINANCE FOR POPULATION ESTIMATE IN SAi~£A ANA,
CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has heretofore contracted
with the Department of Finance of the State of California for an
estimate of the population of the City and desires to again enter
into such an agreement in the belief that the City's population
has increased substantially during the last twelve months.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the
Clerk of the Council are hereby directed to execute that certain
agreement between the City of Santa Ana and the Department of
Finance of the State of California providing for the services of
said Department in making an estimate of population of the City
of Santa Ana under authority of §194.2 of the Streets and Highways
Code of the State of California, and agreeing that the City shall
pap the cost of making such estimate in accordance with the
schedule of charges contained in said agreement. The Clerk shall
furnish copies of said executed agreement to the Department of
Finance of the State of California as requested by them.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 16th day of November, 1964.
