CITY COUNCIL TO CHANGE THE BOUNDARY LINES OF
WARDS AS REQUIRED BY THE CHARTER OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA AND FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE
OF PUBLIC HEARING THEREON
WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of Santa Ana declares that
the City Council shall change Ward boundary~lines each two years
prior to the General Municipal Election.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council here-
by declares its intention to make changes in the boundary lines of
Wards in the City of Santa Ana.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That 7:30 P.M. on the 7th day of
December, 1964, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Third and Main
Streets, Santa Ana, California, is the time and place when and
where any person having any interest in, objection to, or suggestion
regardin~ the making of changes in Ward boundary lines may appear
before the City Council and be heard thereon.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Clerk of the Council is
directed to give notice of said hearing by publishing this
Resolution once a week for two weeks in the Register prior to
December 7th, 1964.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 16th day of November, 1964.
