RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF T~E CITY OF SANTA ANA~ CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER C~ANGES AND MODIFICATIONS IN THE WORK PROPOSED TO BE DONE UNDER ITS RESOLUTIO~OF INTENTION, 62-156 and 64-46 IN THE MATTER OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN SE~ER LINES TOGETHER WITH APPURTENANCES AND APPURTENANT WORK WITHIN T~E SAID CITY FOR THE USE AND BENEFIT OF T~E CITY OF SANTA ANA ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 218, AND FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OF OBJECTIONS TO CHANGES TO THE WORK IN SAID ASSESSMENT DISTRICT. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San~ Aha, pursuant to the provisions of the ImprOvement Act of 1911, being Division 7 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, has heretofore passed and adopte~ its Resolution of Intention No. 62-156 to order the work describe~ therein in the City of Santa Ana Assessment District No. 218 to be done and has heretofore passed and adopte~ its Resolution of Intention No. 64-46 to order changes to the work in said district and had acquired jurisdiction to and has heretofore passe~ and adopte~ its resolution ordering said work to be done and said changes to said work by its Resolutions No. 62-177 and No. 64-60, and did provide for the cost of said work to be assesse~ against the district described in said Resolutions of Intention~ and WHEREAS, the public interest, convenience and necessity require that certain changes end modifications be made in the propose~ work to be done under said Resolutions of Intention; WHEREAS, a contract has been duly awarde~ to N. A. ARTUKOVICH, INC. to do said work describe~ in said Resolutions of Intention; an~ W~EREAS, sai~ contractor has consented to the changes and modifications set forth in this Resolution below. NOW, T~EREFORE, IT IS NEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, as follows= SECTION I That the public interest, convenience and necessity require, and it is the intention of the City Council of the city of Santa Aha, California, to order the following changes and modifications to be mede in the work proposed to be done as described in its Resolutions of Intention No. 62-156 and No. 64-46 as follows: a. Additional work required by the City to lay sewer main on Mar Les Drive and Mar Les West and shortening lengths of laterals on Mar Les Drive so that the working area could be confined to the traveled way on said streets: Reference plan No. A. D. 218, pages 31, 32, 33, 34. b. Increase the size of jacked casing from 18 inches to 26 inches under Fifth Street between stations 10 ~ 01 and 10 ~ 71: Reference plan No. A. D. 218, page 27. c. Increase the size of jacked casing from 18 inches to 26 inches under the Pacific Electric Railroad tracks north of Fifth Street between station 15 ~ 30 and 16 ~ 30: Reference plan NO. A. D. 218, page 29. d. Work required to install an edditional 70 lineal feet of 26-inch jacked casing under Fifth Street between stations I0 ~ O1 and 10 ~ 71 because of a grade change: Refer- ence plan No. A. D. 218, page 27. e. Additional work required to grout the 26-inch jacked casings under Fifth Street between stations 10 ~ 01 and 10 ~ 71 and also under the Pacific Electric Railroad tracks north of Fifth Street between stations 15 ~ 30 and 16 ~ 30: Reference plan No. A. D. 218, pages 27 and 29. f. Delete 98.3 feet of 15-inch V.C.P. on Harbor Boulevard between stations 0 ~ 00 and 0 ~ 98.3: Reference Plan NO. A. D. 218, page 4. g. Add 98.3 feet of 12-inch V.C.P. on Harbor Boulevard between stations 0 ~ 00 and 0 ~ 98.3: Reference Plan No. A. D. 218, page 4. h. Delete 299 feet of 15-inch V.C.P. alley north of First Street between stations 0 ~ 00 Reference Plan No. A. D. 218, page 10. on first end 2 ~ 99: i. Add 299 feet of 12-inch V.C.P. on first alley north of First Street between stations 0 ~ 00 end 2 ~ 99: Reference Plan No. A. D. 218, page 10. j. Delete 992.5 feet of 15-inch V.C.P. on Figueroa Street between stations 0 ~ 00 and 9 ~ 92.5: Reference plan No. A. D. 218, pages 12 & 15. k. Add 992.5 feet of 12-inch V.C.P. on Figueroa Street between stations 0 ~ 00 end 9 ~ 92.5: Reference plan NO. A. D. 218, pages 12 & 15. 1. Delete 101.5 feet of 8-inch V.C.P. on Figueroa Street between stations 9 ~ 94.5 and 10 ~ 96: Reference Plan No. A. D. 218, page 15. m. Add 101.5 feet of 10-inch V.C.P. on Figueroa Street between stations 9 ~ 94.5 and 10 ~ 96: Reference Plan No. A. D. 218, page 15. n. Delete 330.02 feet of 12-inch V.C.P. on alley south of Fifth Street between stations 0 ~ 00 and 3 ~ 30.02: Reference Plan No. A. D. 218, page 18. o. Add 330.02 feet of 8-inch V.C.P. on alley south of Fifth Street between stations 0 ~ 00 and 3 ~ 30.02: Reference Plan No. A. D. 218, page 18. p. Delete construction of ten 6-inch V.C.P. chimneys on Fifth Street between stations 0 ~ 00 and 10 ~ 10: Reference Plan NO. A. D. 218, page 26. Estimated increase in the cost of the work by reason of the aforesaid proposed changes or modifications is the sum of $ 7~460.76 SECTION II NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 21st day of December, 1964, at the hour of 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chamber, in the City Hall, in said City of Santa Ana, California, any and all persons having any objections to the proposed changes and modifications herein proposed may appear and show cause why said changes and modifications should not be done and carried out in accordance with this Resolution of Intention to Modify. SECTION III That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish this Resolution in THE REGISTER, a daily newspaper printed, published and circulated in said City of Santa Ana, said publication to be made not less than Ten (10) days prior to the date of the hearing hereinabove set forth.
