GRANT DEED TO G. L. A. DEVELOPMENT COMPANY
FOR A CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, heretofore the City published notice of sale of
surplus real property, hereinbelow described, at public auction
to be held at a regular Council Meeting on November 16th, 1964,
and at said time and place said property was sold to G. L. A.
DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, the only bidder for the same, in consideration
of the sum of $21,240.00, $2,124.00 paid on acceptance of said bid
and the balance of the purchase price to be paid through escrow;
and
WHEREAS, Escrow No. 871240-hrb has now been opened with
First American Title Insurance and Trust Company, 421 North Main
Street, Santa Aha, California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the Clerk
of the Council are hereby authorized and directed to execute a deed
quitclaiming to G. L. A. DEVELOPb~NT COMPA/qY all of the City's
interest in that certain real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
That portion of Lots 37 and 38 of Tract No. 1265, as shown
on a map thereof recorded in Book 40, Page 48, Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California, lying northerly
of the following described line:
Beginning at a point in the center line of Broadway 89.06
feet North of the center line intersection of Broadway with
Edinger Avenue as said intersection is shown on said map of
Tract No. 1265 and running thence West at right angles from
said center line of Broadway 40.00 feet to a point on the
East line of said Lot 38 and the beginning of a curve
concave Northwesterly, tangent to said East line of Lot 38
and having a radius of 25.00 feet; thence Southwesterly
along said curve through a central angle of 99° 15' 13" an
arc distance of 43.31 feet to a point of compound curvature
with a curve concave Northeasterly and having a radius of
559.00 feet; thence Northwesterly along said compound curve
through a central angle of 1° 42' 31" an arc distance of
16.67 feet to a point of reverse curvature with a curve
concave Southwesterly and having a radius of 641.00 feet;
thence Westerly along said reverse curve through a central
angle of 8° 57' 58" to a point on the West line of said
Lot 37 that is 0.55 feet South of the Northwest corner of
said Lot 37.
and place the same in the above-referenced escrow for delivery to
said grantees.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City~ Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of Decembur, 1964.
