COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA,
CALIFORNIA, AWARDING CONTRACT FOR
WORK OR IMPROVEMENT ORDERED BY
RESOLUTION NO. 64-159.
(Assessment District No. 220,
Bolsa-Euclid)
WHEREAS, in proceedings under the Improvement
Act of 1911, this City Council adopted Resolution No. 64-159,
ordering the doing of all that work described in resolution
of intention, Resolution No. 64-141, and a notice inviting
sealed bids for doing said work has been duly published
and posted; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed, all
sealed bids for said work which were duly filed with the
Purchasing Agent of said city were in open session,
publicly opened, examined and declared by said Purchasing
Agent at a public meeting called in his office in the
City Hall of said city, and said Purchasing Agent has
duly reported the results of the bidding to this City
Council, and the bid of the bidder hereinafter named is
the lowest bid of any responsible bidder;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City
of Santa Aha, California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE
AND ORDER as follows:
Section 1. The bid of Ralph de Leon Con-
struction, Inc., 207 Coffman Avenue, Anaheim, California,
is the lowest bid for said work of any responsible bidder
and is accompanied by a good and sufficient bid check or
bond which is satisfactory to this City Council. Said
bid is hereby accepted and the contract for said work
awarded to the above-named bidder at the prices named
in said bid.
Section 2. Ail bids, other than the bid
above accepted, are hereby rejected and the Clerk of the
Council is directed to return to each bidder whose bid is
so rejected the check or bond which accompanied his bid.
Section 3. The Clerk of the Council is
hereby directed to publish a notice of this award in the
time, form and manner provided by law.
