CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, ALISO HOMES, INC., a corporation, has delivered
to the City a deed dated December 2, 1964, conveying two parcels
of real property for drainage purposes south of Bolsa Avenue,
west of Harbor Boulevard, in consideration of the payment of
$12,127.50; said transaction is to be handled through Escrow
No. 871247-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust Company,
Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, LOUIS D. TORRES and CARMEN TORRES have delivered
to the City a deed dated December 1, 1964, conveying real property
for drainage purposes east of Newhope Street, south of Bolsa Avenue,
in consideration of the payment of $29,000.00; said transaction is
to be handled through Escrow No. 869563-hrb with First American
Title Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Ana, California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the Escrow instructions; that the City of Santa
Ana accepts said deeds, and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated
agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 21st day of December, 1964.
