CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, CALVIN G. ROHRS has delivered to the City a deed
dated December 2, 1964, conveying easements for street purposes on
the west side of Grand Avenue, south of Santa Clara Avenue; and
WHEREAS, RICHARD M. NISSON, as Executor of the Will of Edythe
M. Carson, Deceased, VIRGINIA E. NISSON and MARIAN T. GRAMENTINE
have delivered to the City a deed dated December 4, 1964, conveying
an underground domestic water easement west of Tustin Avenue, south
of Seventeenth Street; and
WHEREAS, TUSFORD LAND CORPORATION, a California corporation,
has delivered to the City a deed dated November 20, 1964, conveying
its interest as leaseholder to an underground domestic water easement
west of Tustin Avenue, south of Seventeenth Street; and
WHEREAS, CARL J. KLATT and LENA A. KLATT have delivered to
the City a deed dated December 4, 1964, conveying an underground
domestic water easement on the west of Tustin Avenue, south of
Seventeenth Street; and
WHEREAS, ORANGE COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT, a body corporate
and politic, has delivered to the City a deed dated November 17, 1964,
granting an easement for street and highway purposes for Adams Street
at the Orange County Flood Control District Channel; and
WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration
being paid to said grantors by the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 21st day of December, 1964.
