IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, JOSEPH T~BURR and MILDRED T. TAMBURR have delivered
to the City a deed dated December 15, 1964, conveying a parcel of
real property located at the southwest corner of Baker and Eighth
Streets in consideration of the payment of $21,000. Said transaction
is to be handled through Escrow No. 52712-C with Security Title
Insurance Company, Santa Aha, California; and
WHEREAS, LAWRENCE L. LOL~MAN and HARRIET T. LOLLMAN have
delivered to the Ciuy a deed dated January 7, 1965, conveying a
spandrel shaped parcel of land for street easement purposes at the
northwest corner of Louise and Eighth Streets in consideration of
the sum of $270.00 to be paid through Escrow No. 52762-C with Security
Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, GRACE KOO and ANNA lYrE KOO have delivered to the
City a deed dated January 7, 1965, conveying a spandrel shaped parcel
of land for street easement purposes at the northeast corner of
Louise and Eighth Streets in consideration of $245.00 to be paid
through Escrow No. 52761-C with Security Title Insurance Company,
Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, CHARLES H. GUYOT and MARVINE GUYOT have delivered to
the City a deed dated January 7, 1965, conveying a parcel of real
property on the south side of Eighth Street, 100 feet east of Louise
Street, and granting the City a temporary easement to allow the
removal of improvements on said property; said t~aporary easement to
terminate not later than December 20, 1965. Said-transaction is in
consideration of $6,650.00 to be paid through Escrow No. 52709-C
with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Aha, California; and
WHEREAS, ~RY iJ~RGARET BATES has delivered to the City a deed
dated January 6, 1965, conveying an easement for street purposes
over a spandrel shaped parcel of land at the northeast corner of
Baker and Eighth Streets in consideration of $240.00 to be paid
through Escrow NO.52753-C with Security Title Insurance Company,
Santa Aha, California; and
WHEREAS, EVIA G. PIPER has delivered to the City a deed dated
December 15, 1964, conveying a parcel of real property on the south
side of Eighth Street at Louise Street in consideration of the sum
of $14,500.00 to be paid through Escrow NO.52707-C with Security
Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, CORENA ~. SPELLMAN has delivered to the City a deed
dated December 15, 1964, conveying a parcel of real property on the
south side of Eighth Street, 85 feet west of Baker Street, in
consideration of the sum of $14,000.00 to be paid through Escrow
No. 52711-C with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Aha,
California; and
WHEREAS, WALTER BARKER~as delivered to the City a deed dated
January 4, 1965, conveying a parcel of real property at the southeast
corner of Bristol and Eighth Streets in consideration of the sum of
$18,000.00 to be paid through Escrow NO.52757-C with Security Title
Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, HENRIETTA M. CROWELL has delivered to the City a deed
dated January 6, 1985, conveying an easement for street purposes at
the northwest corner of Baker and Eighth Streets in consideration of
the sum of $240.00 to be paid through Escrow No. 52759-C with
Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; and

WHEREAS, NEVA M. HERBERT has delivered to the City a deed
dated January 6, 1965, conveying an easement for street purposes
at the northwest corner of Eighth Street and Westwood Avenue in
consideration of the sum of $160.00 to be paid through Escrow
No. 52760-C with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Aha,
California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the Escrow instructions; that the City of Santa
Ana accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated
agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 18th day of January, 1965.
