THE PLA/~NING CO~L~iISSIONA~D GRANTING VARIANCE
ON APPLICATION NO. 2068 FILED BY ARTHUR E. NEEB,
SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS
WHEtkEAS, the Planning Commission, after public hearing on
notice, has DENIED a variance on Variance Application No. 2068, filed
by ARTHUR E. NEEB, and Appeal Application No. 154 was duly filed by
the applicant presenting the matter to the City Council; and
WHEREAS, after hearing on notice, the City Council has deter-
mined that said Variance meets the requirements of Section 9250.8
of the Santa Aha Municipal Code; that the decision of the Planning
Commission should be overruled; and that said Variance should be
granted subject to applicable conditions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the
City of Santa Aha does hereby overrule the decision of the Planning
COmmission and does hereby grant a variance on Variance Application
NO. 2068 to allow the construction of additions to a non-conforming
equipment rental yard at 2140 South Main Street, Santa Ana,
California, in a C-1 District. Said Variance ia granted subject to
the following conditions:
The following conditions are to be complied with prior to the issuance
of a building permit:
'Itlat the subdivider's engineer furnish the Department of Public
Works a final grading plan including existing elevations along
the property lines.
%~at an easement be provided for a 25~foot radius property line
spandrel at the northwest corner of Anahurst Place and t,lain
Street.
NOTE:
Dedication shall be initiated by owner, through the
Department of Public Works, at least two weeks prior
to application for a building permit to avoid delay.
3. That the owner's engineer revise existing street improvement
plans for Anahurst Place on file in City Hall.
4. That all elevations be on 1958 Orange County Survey Datum.
That all plans and surveys for the required improvements be
completed by the owner's engineer and submitted to the Department
of Public Works for approval.
'l~at the owner place curb, gutter and sidewalk and pave up to the
edge of existing pavement on Anahurst Place from Main Street to
Sycamore Street. 'l~e new curb and gutter to be placed 18 feet
north of the center of Anahurst Place.
7. '£~at the owner replace any broken sidewalk and drive approaches
on Main Street.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of February, 1965.
