RESOLUTION ORDERING CHANGES AND MODIFI-
CATIONS IN ASSESSMENT AT THE TIME OF HEARING
THEREON IN RE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 218.
WHEREAS, a duly scheduled end noticed hearing has
been had on the assessment in Assessment District No. 218, and
all written protests filed thereon have been received, considered
and opportunity given to all persons desiring to be heard; and
WHEREAS, it appears that certain changes end
modifications should be made in the assessment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that two parcels
represented by Assessment No. 274 and Assessment No. 494 have
been erroneously assessed for a lateral which was not in either
case installed and that a reduction in each assessment should be
made in the amount of $165.00; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that Assessment No.
lA in the amount of $1,505.38 end Assessment No. 175 in the amount
of $1,083.37 are in error and that the parcels of property are
not in fact benefited by the Assessment District, and further
finds that both parcels are connected to other and separate sower
facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, that the Assessment
be changed end modified as follows:
1. That the sum of $165.00 be eliminated from
Assessment No. 274 and that the sum of $165.00 be eliminated from
Assessment No. 494, and the Superintendent of Streets is directed
to make the necessary corrections in said diagram, map and
assessment roll.
2. That Assessment No. lA in the amount of $1,505.38
and Assessment No. 175 in the amount of $1,083.37 be each reduced
to a zero assessment and that the Superintendent of Streets is
directed to make these changes end directed to respread this total
amount of $2,588.75 on the assessment roll.
