QUITCLAIM DEED BY THE CITY OF SANTA ANA IN
CONSIDERATION OF THE SUM OF $1,050.00
WHEREAS, as a result of the realignment of Edinger Avenue the
City is the owner of certain property located north of Edinger Avenue,
west of Sycamore Street, in the City of Santa Ana, and a portion of
said property has been declared surplus and of no further use except
to the adjacent landowners, LAWRENCE and BEP. NICE SPLINTER, who have
agreed to purchase the same for a cash consideration of $1,050.00
through Escrow No. 52869-C with Security Title Insurance Company,
Santa Aha, California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the escrow instructions; that the Mayor and the
Clerk of the Council are hereby authorized and directed to execute
a deed quitclsiming to LAWRENCE SPLINTER and BERNICE SPLINTER the
City's interest in and to the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
That portion of Lot 13 of Tract 1265, in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, as per map recorded in Book
40, Page 48, of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the County
Recorder of said County, described as follows:
The Northerly 14.05 feet of said Lot 13.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion lying within a spandrel shaped
parcel of land bounded on the East by the East line of Lot 14 of
said Tract 1265, bounded on the south by a line which is parallel
with and 14.05 feet, Southerly measured at right angles fr~u the
North line of said Lot 13, and bounded Northwesterly by the arc
of a curve concave Northwesterly, having a radius of 25.00 feet
and tangent to said South and East boundaries.
RESERVING T~EREFROM all vehicular access rights to Edinger Avenue
from the described property.
and deliver the same into said Escrow No. 52869-C.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 17th day of May, 1965.
