The Boerd of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha do ordain as follows: SECTION I. Reference is hereby made to a map approved by the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana by Resolution No. llT1 approved on the 14th day of January, 1924, and which ma is now on file in the office of the Engineer of said city, which map indicates by a boundary line in green tint thereon the extent of the territory included in s~d assessment dis- trict, and showing the land necessary to be taken in pink tint and which map shall govern for all details as to the ex- ten~ of the assessment district. SECTION IV. The Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Aha shall cause to be conspicuously posted along al] streets and parts of streets, other public places-~nd rights of way where any property is to be taken, and along and upon tending and opening as extended of South Sycamore Street, and SECTION III. The Street S~perintendent shall also cause a notice ~mflar in substances to be published by two insertions in THE SANTA ANA DAILY EVENING REGISTER, e daily newspaper, published and circulated in the City of Santa Aha, which paper is hereby designated for that purpose. SECTION VI. The Clerk of the City of Santa Aha shall Immediately upon the publication of said notice, mail, postage prepaid, to each property owner in the assessment dis- trict, at his last known address, as the s~me ~rpears upon the tax rolls of the City of Santa Aha, and where no ~ddress so a~pears, to the General Delivery et Santa Ane, California, ~ postal card containing ~ notice which shall be in substen- ti~lly the following form: "You ~re hereby notified that on the 14th d~y of J~nuary, 1924, the legislative body of the City of Santa Aha, C~]Iforni~, by virtue of the Street Opening Act of 1903, passed an Ordinance of Intention No. 737 for the extension and open~n~ as extended of South Sycamore Street between the South line of V~ilshire Avenue and the North line of Borchard Avenue, excepting therefrom that portion shown as now'being opened and dedicated on map of Tract No. 352, as per map thereof recorded in Book 15, pages 15 and 16, of Niscell~ueous C Maps, Records of Orange . ounty, California. ~ritten protest may be filed with the City Clerk within thirty days after the l?th day of January, 1924~ Your property is in the district to be assessed for this improvement. (b) Depositing Rubbish in Sewer No person shall throw or deposit or cause to be thrown or deposited in any vessel or receptacle connected with a public sewer, any garbage, vegetable p~rings, ashes, cinders, rags, carbide, lime, oil, grease, etc. That sub-section (a) be added to Section 48 as fol- lows: (a) All refrigerator wastes over four feet in length shall be trspped as close to the refrigerator as possi- ble. The walls and bottom shall be at least Z" in thickness, and built of Concrete; the size of the trap shall be not less than 48" by l~", and not leas than 24" in depth, inside measurements. The trap shall be divided by s 3" partition wall into two chambers, the size of the discharge chamber shall be 24" in length, and of the receiving chamber 18" iu length. On ell new work where the heater vent would have to pass through any room other than where the heater is installed before going through the roof, there shall be installed in the partition wall nearest to the water heater a vent constructed of brick, terra-cotta or cement. The ca- pacity of this vent shall exceed that of the vent outlet on the water heater. The vent shall be firmly set upon s header or other secure support, and shall continue undiminished in size uo through roof. Each section shall be Jointed with ce- meut or fire clay, and secured firmly in place with band iro~ or other suitable material, the galvanized vent from the wa- ter heater shall enter this partition vent through a vent collar drilled with air ports, and at a point not nearer to the ceiling than 12". On other work where the vent can be taken directly through the roof without passing through any other room, except where the water heater is installed, the water heater shall be provided with a vent pipe not less than 3" in diameter and not less than the smoke or fume outlet from said water heater, and extending through and undimintsh- ing in size, and at least 4" above the roof of the building where the s,me is or shall have been installed.: --Around every such vent at all unexposed places to the outside view where the same shall pass from the room in which the aforesaid wa-i ter heater shall have been installed, there shall be a galva-I nized iron sleeve extending the full length of the concealed ! portion of said pipe with a clear air space around said vent I of not less than l", and where this vent goes through a ceil-I ing a vent collar with air ports shall be attached to said vent pipe sleeve, and be secured with at least two screws to the ceiling. At the point of intersection West Sixth Street with the center line the center line of of North Artesia Street, of the center line of of Western Avenue, 91.50 feet. At the point of intersection of the center line of : West Sixth Street with the center ~Ine of Pnclflc Avenue, 96.60 feet.
