ANNEX NLS~iBER TWO" TO THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
WHEREAS, on June 7, 1965, the City Council of the City of
Santa Aha declared its intention to annex uninhabited territory by
Resolution 65-90, Which said Resolution found and declared that said
annexation proceeding was initiated b~~ a request therefor signed by
the owners of all of the territory proposed to be annexed, and which
said Resolution was published in accordance with the requirements
of Government Code §35310.1 setting the protest hearing for July 6,
1965, a date upon which a regular meeting of the City Council was
scheduled.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said City Council hereby
finds and declares that no protest was received from any owner of
property within the City; that said territory was uninhabited on
June 7, 1965, and was contiguous to the City of Santa Ana; that all
of the statements hereinabove and in Resolution 65-90 are true and
correct, and that said territory shall not be taxed to pay any
indebtedness of the City existing at the time of this annexation;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That all of the territory in the
County of Orange, State of California, and described as:
Beginning at an angle point in the City Boundary of the City of
Santa Ana as annexed by the First and Tustin West Annex, NS-296,
said angle point being the Northeast corner of the North half of
the West half of Lot E of the Stafford and Tustin Tract, as shown
on a map thereof, recorded in Book 2, pages 618 and 619, Miscel-
laneous Records of Los Angeles County, California, thence South
619.00 feet, more or less, along said City Boundary, said Boundary
being the East line of said North half of the West half of Lot E,
to the Southeast corner of said North half of the West half of
Lot E; thence departing from said City Boundary West 330.00 feet,
more or less, along the South line of said North half of the
West half of Lot E, to a point in the City Boundary of the City
of Santa Ana, as annexed by the East First Street Annex Number 4,
Resolution 64-74, said point being the Southwest corner of said
North half of the West half of Lot E; thence North 619.00 feet,
more or less, along said City Boundary, said Boundary being the
West line of said North half of the West half of Lot E to the
Northeast corner of Lot D of said Stafford and Tustin Tract, said
Northeast corner being the Northeast corner in the City Boundary
of the City of Santa Ana as annexed by said East First Street
Annex Number 4; thence East 330.00 feet, more or less, along the
City Boundary in the City of Santa Ana, as annexed by said NS-296,
said Boundary being the South line of First Street (66 feet wide),
to the point of beginning,
be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Santa Ana and to
Ward No. 1 in said City, and said annexation is by this Resolution
effected and declared. For the purpose of tax segregation of this
annexation, the designation that applies is "Santa Ana City--1957
and 1958 Annexes".
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of July, 1965.
