RESOLUTION SETTING TLs~ OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR PURPOSE
OF DETERMINING WHETHER THE PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND
NECESSITY REQUIRE IMPROVEI~ENT WORK, ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
NO. 229, SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha, Calif-
ornia is considering the formation of a special assessment district
under and pursuant to the provisions of the Improvement Act of 1911,
Division 7 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California,
for the purpose of the construction and installation of an eight inch
extra strength vitrified clay pipe sewer line with four inch extra
strength vitrified clay pipe sewer laterals and standard manholes,
together with appurtenances and appurtenant work, in Newhope Street,
Regent Drive, Elliott Place and Gates Street Easterly of the inter-
section of the center lines of Newhope Street and Regent Drive, and
in the three cul de sacs of Regent Drive and Elliott Place, as said
proposed work and improvement is shown and described upon the plans,
profiles and detailed drawings of said work, and to the specifications
for the doing of said work on file in the office of the Director of
Public Works of said City of Santa Ama, and approved by said City
Council by its Resolution No. 65-117 adopted August 2, 1965; and
WHEREAS, said City Council desires to hold a public hearing,
concurrently with the protest hearing under the resolution of intention
to be adopted in this proceeding, for the purpose of finding and de-
termining whether the public convenience and necessity require such
Improvement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Santa Aha, California, in regular session assembled this
2nd day of August, 1965, that said public hearing shall be conducted
by said City Council concurrently with the protest hearing under the
resolution of intention to be adopted herein in the council chambers

in the City Hall in said City of Santa Arm, California on Monday,
the 7th day of September, 1965 at 7:30 o'clock P.M. of said date,
or as soon thereafter as said public hearing can be held, for the
purpose of finding and determining whether the public convenience
and necessity require such improvement.
BE IT FURTHER R~SOLVED that notice of the time and place
of said public hearing shall be set forth in the resolution of
intention to be adopted in this improvement district proceeding
and that the Clerk of the Council shall give notice of said public
hearing by posting and publication in the t{r~ and manner provided
in Section 7232 of the Santa Aha Municipal Code.
BE IT FURTHER R~SOLVED that any interested person may
appear at said public hearing and be heard.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Santa Aha at its regular meeting held on the 2nd day of August, 1965.
