Wa~a~EAS, in proceedings under the ~mprovement Act of 1911, this City
Council adopted Resolution No. 65-106, ordering the doing of all that work
described in resolution of intention, Resolution No. 65-94, and a notice
inviting sealed bids for doing said work has been duly published and posted; and
W~/NEAS, at the time and place fixed, all sealed bids for said work
which were duly filed with the Purchasing Agent of said city were in open
session, publicly opened, exam/ned and declared by said Purchasing Agent at a
public meeting called in his office in the City Hall of said city, and said
Purchasing Agent has duly reported the results of the bidding to this City
Council, and the bid of the bidder hereinafter named is the lowest bid of any
responsible bidder,
NOW, TnmHEFOBE~ the City Council of the City of Santa Aha, California,
DOES ~ RESOLVE~ DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows:
Section 1. The bid of Scott Bros. Const. Inc., 630 South Hathaway,
Santa Aha, California, is the lowest bid for said work of any responsible bidder
and is accompanied by a good and sufficient bid check or bond which is
satisfactory to this City Council. Said bid is hereby accepted and the contract
for said work awarded to the above-named bidder at the prices named in said bid.
Section 2. All bids, other than the bid above accepted, are hereby
rejected and the Clerk of the Council is directed to return to each bidder
whose bid is so rejected the check or bond which accompanied his bid.
Section 3. The Clerk of the Council is hereby directed to publish
a notice of this award at the tim~ and in the form and manner provided by law.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 16th d~ of August, 1965.
